If you’ve been following me for awhile, you’ll know that I absolutely love my chocolate desserts. This time I decided to get my chocolate fix through this delicious smoothie but in a healthier way. Thanks to Pure I was able to incorporate a superfruit fusion into my drink. It’s a super potent antioxidant-rich blend of goji berry, acai berry, noni fruit, and mangosteen fruit. Seriously, these superfruits are all packed with fiber, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants; it’s like sending a care package to your body.
I recommend trying some of this for breakfast. Don’t worry that it looks like you’re having dessert first thing in the morning, you know what’s really up. This yummy chocolate smoothie is not only innocent as in vegan, refined sugar-free, and gluten-free but also has amazing flavor. The sweetness of the banana and dates balance out the tartness of the Superfruit Fusion blend. It’s the perfect combination for chocolate lovers who want to stick to a healthy diet.

1/2 cup superfruit fusion 1/4 cup cacao powder 2 frozen bananas (sub with fresh bananas) 2 cups cashew milk 2 medjool dates (pitted) 3 tbsp coconut cream (canned) 1 cup ice cubes
To prepare the whipped coconut cream, mix coconut cream with a hand mixer for about 5-10 seconds.
To prepare the smoothie add all ingredients except for the coconut cream into a high speed blender and mix until smooth.
Top off with whipped coconut cream and shaved chocolate. Serve immediately.
